We spent 2 nights here in late May 2025. It’s a small boutique hotel, relatively newly opened with really cool room designs. The beds are the most comfortable we have slept in on our trip and the showers are amazing.
Staff were so friendly and helpful, big shout out to Johan who was superb in every way. Breakfast was all homemade and the coffee was top quality. The pool area is small but beautifully designed with again new and top end furniture.
The hotel doesn’t look that special from the outside but is well worth a visit. It’s located right in the heart of Santa Teresa ion the Main Street near to the Carmen beach. Loads of restaurants on your door step. Great value for money compared to the bigger resorts and with a level of personal service that one rarely encounters. I cannot rate this hotel more highly!

Loved my stay here! The hotel just opened a few months ago, so everything is really new. The rooms are modern, very clean and well-thought-out (the bed and pillows were really comfortable and there was shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, pool towels, etc. in the room). The location is also great - basically on the main road with all the restaurants and stores and also just a few minutes to the beach (walkable). The pool is also really nice and there is also a cold plunge. Also, breakfast was included and it was delicious.

Everyone was super welcoming, friendly and helpful. They helped book my transportation to/from the airport and also had great recommendations for restaurants and things to do (and can help with booking that too)! I definitely appreciated their thoughtfulness and kindness, and it made my stay very relaxing!

From the beginning to the end, it was an exceptional vacation. With a welcome drink that was heavenly to the most spectacular breakfast. The entire staff was helpful and always attentive. Genesis even helped us plan the next leg of our trip on the Nicoya peninsula. The owners are truly accommodating and thought of every attention to detail. We will definitely return soon.

Forget the name of the guy working the breakfast and coffee in the morning but he was such a great guy to chat with and super welcoming. Hotel is lucky to have this guy, he made our stay there a phenomenal experience.

Our stay at Blooma Boutique Hotel was fantastic! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, the rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the town's best restaurants. It is on the most beautiful beach in Santa Teresa (Playa Carmen), with the best waves for beginners and expert surfers. We especially loved the delicious breakfast buffet each morning and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Costa Rica.

Beautiful hotel, in a great location!
The staff is sweet and overall my wife and I had a great experience in the couple of days we stayed in Blooma.
I’d recommend it to anyone at any age, and I will definitely be back in one of my next vacations

The best hotel experience we had in a very long time.
We were welcomed with complementary house cocktails upon checking in ( we also got an early check-in with no charge )
Everything is a brand new with top of the line facility and super thoughtful service.
The pool in the Jacuzzi were great, the breakfast was super good and the cocktails are all handcrafted and very tasteful.
They even have an elevator which I personally never saw in any hotel in Santa Teresa before.
The room was very cozy with high ceilings and a nice balcony facing the pool , super comfortable king size bed, and very spacious shower and bathroom space.
The Concierge helped us book a four wheeler rental, surfing lesson, and even a flight from Santa Teresa to San Jose.
Very good experience in all aspects and we definitely coming back.

Spectacular! The hotel is centrally located just a few meters from the beach, and the decor is beautiful. Johan was very kind; he offered us early check-in for my husband's birthday, which made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended 🙂

Our five-day vacation at this hotel, from the moment of our arrival, turned into a meeting with "The Good Life Channel".
The hotel is tastefully designed, extremely elegant with spectacular minimalism, maximum comfort and an emphasis on all the small details.
The hotel is immersed in tropical vegetation that connects us to the essence of the place.
The entire hotel staff was at our service and always behaved courteously accompanied by a smile of humility.
The breakfasts were delicious and of high quality with an emphasis on baking in the hotel kitchen and preparing all the products on site.

A few minutes' walk from the amazing beaches of Santa Teresa and on the other side very close to restaurants and shops.
All in all, it was for us a wonderful experience of combining closeness to nature and luxury.
We also enjoyed bathing in the elegant and pleasant hotel pool from early morning until evening.
In short, a perfect hotel.
